So, you bought a digital camera and installed the free photo editing software that came with it. First you just cropped some images to get rid of the stuff that you didn't want everyone to see and then you could adjust some brightness and contrast values and maybe turn your photo into sepia colour or remove the red eyes to make your kids look a little less like vampires... So, is there more to do? Paint.net is not a professional program, but still a bit more advanced than those that come with your camera. It supports layers, several different image formats, there´s clone stamp, blur, colour picker and several other features that you can find in those expensive photo editing programs.The differense is that this is totally FREE. At least it's worth trying if you want to get your hands on photo editing!

Tuliko ostamasi digikameran mukana ilmainen kuvankäsittelyohjelmisto? Onko se hyväkin? Saako sillä tehtyä muuta kuin säädettyä kirkkautta ja kontrastia, muutettua kuvan ruskean sävyiseksi tai mustavalkoiseksi, poistettua punaiset silmät vampyyrilapsilta ja leikattua reunoista pois ylimääräiset? Paint.net ei ole ihan ammattilaistason ohjelma, mutta pitkälle silläkin pääsee. Sillä voi lisätä kuviin kerroksia ja elementtejä, se tukee useita eri tiedostomuotoja, siinä on useita erilaisia kuvan muokkaustyökaluja ja efektejä, joita käytetään ammattilaistason ohjelmissakin. Erona on, että tämä on täysin ilmainen! Jos haluat kokeilla kuvankäsittelyä kustannukset minimoiden, niin voinpa suositella tätä! Kokeiltu on, ja toimii!
