It's hunting season here, and I've been font hunting lately. There are so many free font sites to go through that I imagine my life is too short to go through them all. I guess that's unnecessary too, one can't possibly need every single font that's available out there. There´s one site that I've found quite pleasant to use and that has quite anything that you will need to make some spectacular word art for your scrap books, or whatever it is that you need a beautiful font for. It has many categories for different kind of fonts, so when you browse it through, go and lat your curiosity guide you. I should encourage you to look under the category "dingbats" too, there's some cool animals, geishas etc. And please, take your time.
Nyt kun metsästyskausi on jo alkanut, olen viettänyt aikaa fonttijahdissa. Ilmaisia fonttejahan on jaossa niin lukemattomilla sivuilla, ettei tämä elämä taida kaikkien tutkimiseen riittää, vaikka tuskinpa siihen on tarvettakaan. Ainakin yhden sivuston olen huomannut mukavaksi käyttää, ja sieltä löytyy jokseenkin kaikki, mitä voi kuvitella tarvitsevansa upeiden tekstileikkeiden tekoon mihin tahansa skräppäysprojektiin tai muuhun mihin nyt nättejä kirjasimia voi tarvita. Fontit ovat omissa kategorioissaan, joita on runsaasti, joten kannattaa olla utelias ja selailla rauhassa. Kurkkaa myös kohtaa "dingbats", siellä on aika siistejä eläimiä, geishoja ja muita leikekuviksi sopivia.
